Painting and Smiles

It's pretty safe to say that I have mainly been feeling rather low over the last few days. This time of year is, quite simply, the hardest time of year for me, whatever my circumstances have been.

Sunday saw my Mum's birthday. This Sunday is Mothering Sunday/Mother's Day in the UK. The end of April heralds the anniversary of her death; ten years this year.

This year has been no different but there are a few moments, some brief, of happiness. Moments that put a smile on my face. The small things.

And the final results? Take a look.

Future artist? Maybe. If not, it was a whole lot of fun anyway.

If you like my blog, please consider me for a nomination in the Brilliance in Blogging Awards. I would be honoured. Alternatively, please do remember to nominate any of your favourite blogs!

  1. Love his happy little face! I think he has a bright future ahead of him in the art world, all he needs now is to come up with a pretentious description of what his painting represent and he will be there! Xx
